If you’re an allergy sufferer then you probably already know that its allergy season. According to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI), 80 percent of those with seasonal allergies report moderate-to-severe symptoms that significantly impair their quality of life. Below are tips to keep your and your teen’s seasonal allergy symptoms to a minimum:

*Take a bedtime shower to wash off pollen that has accumulated on your hair and skin.

*Use an over-the-counter (OTC) saline nasal spray to help clear a clogged nose and wash out allergens. This is particularly helpful after being outside and before bed.

*Keep pets off your bed-and if possible- out of the room entirely if they spend time outdoors.

*Vacuum regularly to pick up stray pollen/allergen particles.
